Books really are something else, aren’t they? They’re portable little adventures, an escape from the harsh reality of our world. And there’s a constant stream of new books to amaze, inspire, educate and entertain. January was a fantastic month for new releases so I’m gutted that I never managed to squeeze in a most anticipated releases post. But hey, I’m here now. So today I’m going to be talking about six books being released in February 2021 that I am most excited about!
Happy Friday! Can you believe we’re now in the sixth week of the year? Time seems to be moving at a weird rate like it’s going slow but also quite fast? I don’t know if that’s just me or what but hey, it is what it is! So today is reading update day and as always, there’s a lot to cover. From what I read through to what I hauled and more, it’s all here in this weekly update. Let’s talk books, shall we?
It’s time for my first monthly wrap-up of 2021! And following on from last year’s descent into utter chaos, it was another month of awful. Still, books gave me an escape from all that. So today I’ll be wrapping up the 15 books I read in January 2021 with stats and sharing my February reading plans!
Is January over yet? This is starting to feel like the longest month of all time. This week’s TBRU is potentially going to be a shorter one than you’re used to mainly because I have less to talk about but hey, that’s okay!
I’m venturing a little bit outside of my comfort zone today and talking about children’s books! As you may know, I have a 3 year old son who LOVES reading. His eyes light up when book mail arrives even more than mine do. Still, I don’t really talk about children’s books here and I wanted to change that this year. So going forward, I’ll be sharing semi-regular review wrap-ups of the books we’ve been reading and loving lately!
Hello, again! Today I’ll be reviewing Gut Feelings by C.G. Moore. This own voices novel-in-verse explores how chronic illness can impact your education, relationships, love life and future in general.
